Prorédaction respects your rights regarding your personal data and provides the following information about these rights:

Right of access to personal data: you have the right to obtain from Prorédaction confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the information about the processing, including the purposes, the categories of personal data concerned; the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, etc.

Right to rectification: you have the right to obtain from Prorédaction the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you.

Right to be forgotten: you have the right to obtain from Prorédaction the erasure of personal data concerning you on the one of the following grounds: the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were processed; you withdraw your consent on which the processing is based and there is no other legal ground for the processing; the personal data have been unlawfully processed; you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing or you object to the processing for direct marketing; the personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation in the European Union or a member state of the European Union law to which the Prorédaction is subject.

Right to restriction of processing: you have the right to obtain from Prorédaction the restriction of processing on the one of the following grounds: you are contesting the accuracy of the personal data – for a period enabling Prorédaction to verify the accuracy of the personal data; the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of your personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead; Prorédaction no longer needs your personal data for the purposes of the processing, you require them for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; you have objected to processing – pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of you.

Right to withdraw consent: you have the right to withdraw your consent given to Prorédaction to process your personal data at any time. Please, note that the withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Right to file complaint to a supervisory body: without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of the European Union of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the applicable law.

Right to data portability: you have the right to receive your personal data, which you have provided to Prorédaction, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from Prorédaction to which the personal data have been provided, subject to the following conditions: the processing is based on consent and the processing is carried out by automated means.

Right to object: you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your situation, at any time to processing of your personal data which is based on Prorédaction‘s legitimate interest, for direct marketing purposes and profiling in connection to the direct marketing.

Automated decision-making, including profiling

Prorédaction does not apply automated decision-making, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

Information we can process

We can collect your personal data by different means. Principally you provide us with your personal data by filling in forms, including those connected with creation or operation of your Account or by communicating with Prorédaction by e-mail, massaging app (e. g. WhatsApp, Telegram), phone. Also, we can obtain your personal data from third parties – our business partners. And some information Prorédaction can collect automatically.

Types of personal data you provide to Prorédaction:

  • Name (first name, surname)

  • E-mail address

  • Phone number

  • Academic Level (e. g. high school, colleague, university, PhD)

The above mentioned types of personal data are essential to create, enter and operate your Personal Account through which you can place orders and to communicate with Prorédaction by different means, including filling in other forms or messaging apps (WhatsApp, Telegram) and e-mail. This information is core for the adequate performance of our services. Specifically, we process these personal data for the following purposes: to provide you with our services against your orders, to contact you in relation to an ordering process, to manage your account, to respond to your queries via our “Help Center”, marketing communication, to communicate and cooperate with you as a Writer, including to confirm your candidacy for performing services.

These data are necessary to ensure that Prorédaction works in the most effective, safe and secure way and to conduct research, statistical and behavioral analysis in order to enhance effectiveness and safety of Prorédaction.

Specified data are non-personally identifiable but relate to an identifiable natural person. That means that these data can be used to identify you only by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, etc.

These data may be collected through various technologies, including server logs, cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies

Prorédaction may gather information about your general Internet use by using cookies. Where used, these cookies are downloaded to your computer automatically. A cookie is a file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. Prorédaction uses cookies to help you personalize your online experience.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies.

Types of personal data we can collect from/with our partners:

  • payment information, including name, data of settlement account and payment card.

These data are required for the provision of our services. This information is used solely for billing purposes, processing and control of payment. We enter into arrangements with payment services providers who process your payments. We have a legal obligation to secure your consent to allow the storing of your payment card details for the use of payment services providers.

We don’t view or store your full credit card or other payment method information – instead, such information is provided directly to Payment Processors for their processing of your payment. When you enter your card details on Prorédaction, the information is sent directly to secure databases maintained by the payment services providers, who then complete the transaction. For all purchases, our payment service providers will collect your payment method details and charge your chosen payment method in connection with an order.

We may collect information about the amount of any transaction, as well as your first name and last name, the last four digits of the card, the transaction number, and in some cases, the mobile phone number exclusively for tax and financial reporting purposes but it will not include your full cardholder data, which will be submitted immediately to the payment services providers.

The payment services providers will collect, process and store your card details as well as other required information under their own policies, thus we recommend you to get acquainted with their pertinent privacy rules before authorizing any payments. The payment services providers will not keep your payment information for any longer than is required in light of the reason(s) for which it was initially collected. However, it will be kept until a relevant legal basis or legal obligation exists (including a need for payment services providers to establish or defend their legal rights).

We do not collect, process or store your card details or any other payment-related information on Prorédaction.

Prorédaction works with certain third parties, principally with payment service providers and we also may receive some information about you from them. We can collect specified type of personal data in order to manage your order and commence performance of our services.

Prorédaction may, from time to time, contain links to and from third party websites. If you follow any links to a third party website, keep in mind that these sites have their own privacy policies and that we do not assume any responsibility or obligations under such policies. Please examine these policies prior to transferring any personal data to other websites.

Legal basis for processing

Prorédaction processes your personal data on the basis of your consent and legitimate interest. If you refuse to give consent to process your personal data, listed in paragraph “Types of personal data you provide to Prorédaction”, Prorédaction cannot render you the services. Personal data, listed in other paragraphs are processed on the basis of Prorédaction’s legitimate interest.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the websites you visit.

Children’s privacy

Prorédaction does not perform services to users who are under the age of 18. We do not permit users under the age of 18 on our platform and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you suspect that a user is under the age of 18, please use the reporting mechanism available through the service.

Your personal data protection

We protect your information in the following way:

We take all possible measures to ensure the safety of your information, which is required for functioning of the Services, on Our secure servers.

You bear responsibility for observing the privacy of your passwords and safety of your keys stored on your device.

Prorédaction may transfer your personal data to countries or international organisations where an adequate level of protection is ensured. If Prorédaction decides to transfer your personal data to those third countries or international organisations, in relation of which there are no any evidence of adequate protection level ensurance, Prorédaction can do this only if Prorédaction has provided appropriate safeguards, according to applicable law, and on condition that your rights and effective legal remedies are available for you.

Data retention

Prorédaction will hold your personal data, for as long as it has a business relationship with you, in secure computer storage facilities, and we take the necessary measures to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

When we consider that personal information is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, we will remove any details that will identify you or we will securely destroy the records. However, we may need to maintain records for a significant period of time. For example, we are subject to certain anti-money laundering laws which require us to retain the following, for a period of 5 years after our business relationship with you has ended.

Also, the personal information we hold in the form of a recorded information, by telephone, electronically or otherwise, will be held in line with local regulatory requirements.

You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting Us, by contacting them as indicated in their pertinent advertisements, by sending Us a request via the Website or by using unsubscribe link provided in pertinent advertisements.

If you have opted out of receiving marketing communications we will hold your details on our suppression list so that we know you do not want to receive these communications.

We may keep your data for longer than 5 years if we cannot delete if for legal, regulatory or technical reasons.

Categories of recipients that can receive your personal data or information about you

In addition to other cases, described in this Privacy Notice, Prorédaction can disclose collected personal data concerning you in the following way.

We do not disclose your data to our advertisers, however, we are entitled to provide summarized non-identifying information about all our users for the purpose of demonstrating to advertisers the characteristics of the target audience.

We are also entitled to use summarized non-identifying information to provide assistance to advertisers in attracting the target audience.

For advertising purposes we cooperate with Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrika.

We may otherwise disclose non-identifying information to third parties. We do not share your personal data with third parties for those third parties’ marketing purposes unless we first provide you with the opportunity to opt-in to or opt-out of such sharing.

We may also share the information we have collected about you, including personal data in the following circumstances.

We share information regarding Writers with our Users. Note that if a Writer is suspended from Prorédaction, we may share that information with Users for whom that Writer has worked or submitted proposals for work. If you choose to submit a proposal for work as a Writer via Prorédaction, we will share information relevant to your application with the applicable User(s), including, but not limited to, the information contained in your User Profile.

Prorédaction will share information with government agencies as required by law in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements and, including without limitation, in connection with reporting earnings.

By writing a testimonial you agree that we are allowed to use your testimonials linked to your account or not for marketing purposes. We are also allowed to place your testimonials on pages of Prorédaction.

You can always contact support team and ask to block / remove your testimonials if you feel that it may harm your profile.

Changes to our Privacy Notice

We may revise this Privacy Notice from time to time. We reserve the right to update or change this Privacy Notice or our policies or procedures at any time with or without prior notice. However, we will not use your personal data in any way that would substantially differ from the one described in this Privacy Notice without providing you with a possibility to exclude such use.

We will publish revised Privacy Notice on Prorédaction to provide users with the possibility to see what kind of information we collect, how it is used and under which circumstances it can be disclosed. You agree to re-read the Privacy Notice from time to time to stay updated.
